Dr. Daniel A. Terrone is a board-certified internal medicine physician who has had the privilege of serving patients at Medical Associates of West Florida since 2003.

For more than two decades, Dr. Terrone has remained committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive medical care while building lasting relationships with his patients and the community he is honored to serve.

Throughout his career, he has also served Medical Associates of West Florida in important leadership roles, including both Vice President and President of the practice.

Medical Career and Leadership

Dr. Terrone completed his Internal Medicine residency at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York, in 2003 after earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998.

After completing his medical training, he moved to the Tampa Bay area and joined Medical Associates of West Florida. His years with the practice have included both patient care and leadership service as Vice President and President.

From Aerospace Engineering to Medicine

Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Terrone enjoyed a successful career as a mechanical and aerospace engineer with Grumman Aerospace on Long Island, New York.

He contributed to several notable aerospace programs and also served as Project Leader for the Joint STARS program in Melbourne, Florida. The analytical thinking, problem-solving and attention to detail developed during that career remain valuable strengths in his medical practice.

Family and Life Outside Medicine

Outside of medicine, Dr. Terrone is grateful for his wonderful family. His wife, Dr. Linda Terrone, is a pediatrician. Together, they have a daughter, Daniella, whose dedication and passion as a competitive ice hockey athlete continually inspire them.

Looking back, Dr. Terrone is grateful for the unique path his career has taken. Every experience has helped shape the physician he is today, and caring for his patients remains his greatest professional privilege.
