There is no difference. Medicare Part C is the official name for Medicare Advantage. Medicare Advantage plans are offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare and provide an alternative way to receive your Part A and Part B benefits.
Most Medicare Advantage plans also include prescription drug coverage and may offer additional benefits such as dental, vision, or hearing. However, they typically operate with provider networks and cost-sharing structures that differ from Original Medicare.
