Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plan G is one of the most comprehensive Medigap plans available. It works with Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) to help cover deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments.
Plan G covers nearly all Medicare-approved expenses except the annual Part B deductible. After that deductible is met, Plan G typically pays 100% of covered services, including excess charges. Prescription drug coverage is not included, so a separate Medicare Part D plan is required.
